Is it possible to single-click instead of double-click on everything?

I am using Mac, why do I have to double click everything? On the main menu, option settings, every thing is double click...I was clicking the menu for a moment I thought the game was hanging

They can but don't you think double clicking is annoying? on the settings page you can't even scroll the scroll bar but need to double click on it to scroll up and down

What you describe does not sound like intended behaviour of the game. You should not need to double click. How does other games work for you? Are you using a mouse or some other device for click input? Have you tried altering between different click input devices?

Thank you very much for replying. Yes it does look weird. I am using a mouse and have no problems with other games. I tried to use a different mouse and touch pad they all have the same symptom to have to double click everything. I can't reset key binding etc in the game settings as the pop up confirmation window disappear immediately when it pops up due to the double click. Can't click on sliders either it's also double click.

I played this game in EA and I don't recall I had this problem before.

Thanks for the info. If you don't mind, could you make an ingame report by pressing b+b+b? There may be some helpful logs to see there.

This issue is really strange. Will ask some more knowledgeable devs to look in to this as well.

This is an issue we've seen popping up from time to time, but we have no idea what's causing it. It's even happened on my own macs a couple of times to then just go away.

Have you've always had the problem or did it just show up?
What version are you playing on? (I added some code that I hoped might help with this problem to the 1.0.2-version)

I am seeing the same issue on a mac - I have to double click instead of single click pretty much everywhere. The weirdest example is when I click on the "next" button in any tutorial dialog (e.g. on the hero tutorial dialog), nothing happens. But when I double click it responsd and advances two pages

Woot - I think I might have discovered a fix. I was running Steermouse on my mac. I uninstalled it, and now I don't have to double click.

Apologies I didn't see your message. I reinstalled the game yesterday and it worked well. If this happens again I'll do b+b+b and send you the logs! Really appreciate your help.

Really thank your effort, I didn't see your message, I reinstalled the game and it was okey. The version I was using was 1.0.2

I'm having this problem too. I don't use Steermouse, but I do use Logi Options+. I will run a bug report next time I'm playing the game. Really enjoying it for the most part, but the double-click issue is problematic at times!
