I seriously hope you consider this, and also release ways to modify core aspects of factions and such things that might spawn entire new modes and mechanics..
Just release a DLC and introduce this function, i dont think people have any problem supporting you with DLCS and its always almost a must to have all vanilla content and dlcs if they introduce new mechanics and things that are not in the games game.
DLCs with new factions would be really great. I would definitely be on board.
But I also love what you have done with the neutral units since launch. E.g. having more than the original one type of bandit is really really nice. I can't nail exactly why but somehow things like that really add to the depth of the world and immersion.
And variation like that also allows much more stories to be told in player made campaigns and scenarios.
Somebody even made a Lone Wolf Magnamund mission and it is amazing that it works quite well.
