What is the tutor skill for and how to use it??
I am playing the campaign and the tutor skill was given to my character after visiting the monastery. But I am not sure what is this skill for, please advise. Thank you.

As far as I'm aware, this skill is better in MP. IIRC from discussion on the discord, what it does it prelevels any future wielders you recruit with a percentage of your wielder's current EXP. This allows you to purchase new wielders with very high levels.

In MP, across a long game, where you may lose multiple armies and fight multiple pitched battles and need to recruit new wielders late into the game, having tutor on an early wielder can give you a huge lead (as far as I understand how it works, maybe I'm completely incorrect).

As for SP campaigns, however, it doesn't really seem that useful. At the very most, recruit whatever wielders you can so that in prior levels they come with exp.

I tried it yesterday, my lvl 1 hero got tutored by my lvl17 hero (Tutor lvl2, so 50% of Exp) directly to lvl 13.

Tutor is pretty good in the rana campaign i feel, since they get 5 heroes on last map. I tutored all my heroes close to lvl 30. And i bet it would be really good in MP like was said before. In skirmish i take tutor on my first hero every time if i get the chance.

Honestly I thought this was a +X% bonus to EXP gain of all other Wielders of a lower level than the one who took the ability. This does seem pretty insane in MP, but in single player there's very few times where you actually straight up recruit a brand new Wielder since most are characters that are given to you by the script.

It doesn't matter how you get the new wielder. Interact with the Tutor and they get the xp.

Is it only for once or every time you interact with another wielder after the tutor gains a new level?

Doesn't even need to be after level. Every time a lower exp wielder interacts with the tutor, the exp of the lower is raised to 25/50/75% of the tutors. Of course only if it's lower to begin with than the percentage. The skill won't lower anyone's exp.

When playing skirmish, if it comes up, you have your first wielder get the bonus experience skill. Also the tutor skill. Max at least the tutor skill to level 3 ASAP.

After leveling them a bit. You recruit new heroes next to your first wielder. Or you recruit them in the backfield and have them run more units up. Interact. Instant multiple levels to your level 1.

This gives you:
New resource income
New gold income
Very good wielder scouts
Strong wielder mages

Tutor is so beneficial it dictates your gameplay. One killer army, going around getting experience as quickly as possible. It makes no sense to have 2 strong armies both getting experience.

If the devs can get the skirmish AI to always use tutor with some expertise, then I guess everything will be good. If only the players use tutor and the AI just stumbles around, then it would be better to remove the tutor skill from the game.

Nobody answered the question of how do you use it. Gnaw has it, how do I get him mentored?

When wielder with tutor meets another wielder of lower level that wielder gets some free XP.
