Controller support?

Does this (still Early Access) have controller support?
If not, is any planned?

I think I already played with controller accidentally tho? It wasn't good and quite frankly, I think this type of game suits better for mouse+keyb, but I wouldn't mind SoC will be released on Switch, in some future after full release on Steam. I think it will look/play fantastic there.

For most games, I just create my own controller template in Steam. Works fine for 95% of game without native support.

This game works great with a controller. All of the HoMM style games do. Steam's own controller support works great. End turn to Y, Left mouse click to A, Right mouse click to B. Shoulder buttons mouse wheel up-down, etc. Ez.

Another post to encourage controller support. Will buy the game regardless but it's always a nice addition to relax on a couch at the end of the day :)

As somebody who's been exclusively a PC gamer since late 90s do you know how many times I wanted to just sit back in my chair or couch, and chill playing HoMM3(since this is that type of game). But instead I was stuck at my desk, in an upright position. So, I'm all for controller support in this kind of game. It's turn based, there's nothing holding a player back using alternative input methods.
