Any way to play multiplayer in teams, use diplomacy or win together (form alliances)?

I want to play with a friend together against AI. At best by playing the same faction with two starting locations, playing as a team against several AI enemies.

You won't be able to host cooperative games (in which players work with one another in order to achieve a common objective). Currently, you can only play against a friend, random player or Ai. This functionality will get added later tho, so no worries!

This is what I'm waiting on, still play HOMM 5 and HOMM III Horn of the Abyss coop with my dad as he hates vs.

there is an experimental coop mode, which i play now. It works really well!

I just made a multiplayer game with 3 other AI and placed one on my team and 2 on the other team. It even shows them on the map and has shared vision with them so maybe it works?

It should work pretty well, but it is still a bit limited. For example, you currently can't do things like trade with your allies.

I’d advertise it more. It was the main selling point for me and my dad. Might deter some who want coop and don’t read up on the forums.

So, I enabled the coop mode, but it doesn't let me select teams for my wife. Just for the A.I. How exactly are we supposed to play together?

WOW awesome gonna pick this up, love Coop and it determines If I buy or not so thank you very much devs. :)

In order to play with the coop mode, you need to go in the options, select the experimental coop-mode and then re-host a game. you will then be able to select teams.
