IT DOESNT'T LET ME CHOOSE

Hi, I have a problem with an error, which is that in the intro when I have to choose the choices we made in previous games, it doesn't allow me to choose.
It only tells me to click and advance with a choice that I did not take, and so on with others later.
Example: When it comes to deciding whether Clementine shoots Lee or not, I don't get to choose and the game just decides not to.

its because of the corrupted save files you have on your pc i assume, this will delete your previous twd save files(then you'll be able to choose those choices yourself)they're located in documents/telltale games or documents/my games/telltale games.just delete the whole folder

It did not work, I deleted all the folders that were from the other games and the error still persists

Go to settings, delete the save or choose an empty slot, start new game and choose not to import save.

Any idea if doing it manually misses anything? I played the first episode and began the second years ago but put off playing the rest until recently. I just played through the series fresh from the start over the past month because I couldn't remember what had happened, finished TNF only hours ago, started this and it's telling me I made choices that I din't and failing to recall a few. Is manually choosing identical in outcome to it importing from a TNF save?
