I can't kill those burning walkers[spoilers]
As far as I can tell you're stuck in place and can't move away. Did anyone have a specific strategy for beating them?

If you mean the battle at the end of Season 4 Episode 2, you should be able to move. Though really you should just use the bow to head-shot the zombies. If one gets close, stop aiming with the bow and face them so you can fight them in the traditional way. But avoid that because there's too many to go hand to hand, you'll get overwhelmed. Keep checking your flanks between headshots, they like to sneak up on you.

Just headshot all of the zombies with the bow. There are two moments, though. First, arrows fly in the chosen direction now instead of trace-locking, and since zombies tend to move their heads, you may have to aim slightly to some direction of their current head position. Second, zombies come in two directions - the one you are facing initially and to the left, so after disposing of zombies that are too close in one direction turn to another to make sure you won't get outflanked.
Has anyone else successfully gotten past this part while playing on a computer with a touchpad mouse? If so, how long did it take?

I've reached what appears to be the very last section of this battle (the same as the OP), but aiming is difficult for me because I have to use my finger to turn the camera and aim rather than moving a separate mouse. I set up a hotkey for right clicking using a program called AutoHotkey, which seems to be helping a bit, but aiming is still a bit fiddly. I always seem to just miss some of the walkers.

I guess all I can do is keep trying . . . that, or wait until I can get a traditional mouse.

The way I did it was to immediately headshot the walker directly ahead with the bow, then move slightly to the right. (The central obstacle has only the two sides from which they attack.)
Looked left to see a single walker on the left. Although further away than the next one on the right, I took that one out first. I then ran back left.
From that slightly left of center position, all the other walkers came from the right side. It was easy to pick them off one-by-one, leading the targets as Dethlane said previously.
That said, I did not wait there for them to file in, but moved back slightly right again to get them as quickly as possible.

@HarleyQuinn. This is terrible advice, and may not actually be true, but if you die many times in a row, the game will adjust to make it slightly easier. The walkers will either move more slowly or there will be one or two fewer than before.

If you plan on more gaming from your laptop, Google the "six dollar gaming mouse." They exist and while bare-boned, will be infinitely better than a touchpad for some applications.
Thank you, halfmonkey. I'll look into that mouse, and maybe try your strategy of moving slightly.

My strategy was to kill zombies coming from one side while everyone else that didn't get kidnapped or brutally murdered would cover the other side.

I still died because they're all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ USELESS
