Clementine & AJ Reunion from New Frontier

I'm on episode 2 of TWD Final Season. Without revealing any spoilers do I get to find out how Clementine and AJ reunite at the end of New Frontier? AJ mentions the ranch in one sentence. I thought the game would do a flashback and show you but there's like zero mention of their reunion.
