[SPOILERS] About the ending
It din't made any sense, realistically speaking she was suppose to turn. I feel like skybound games made it this way so us fans see Clem live and have a good life, but then the entire "You have to kill / leave me" section was pointless . Maybe they did a last second decision and gaved us a good ending. Now i am glad that Clem is alive, but it doesn't mean that ending made any sense or whatsoever.

Non the less, i still thank Skybound finishing this game, after all, if they dint helped, we would never see what happend, it would just us the community have ideas and theory about what really happend, but thanks to them, now we have a answer.
+ Can we appricate how Minerva scene was great? It was prob one of my fav scene in the entire triology.

Its a video game

We have met other characters who had limbs cut off and they survived

Just because Lee died doesn't mean Clem would die

I agree, it made no sense she survived, they were in a shack, their location unknown to anybody with no medical supplies and surrounded by walkers

They should have just skipped the whole bit with Clem getting bitten and done something different. I didn't really feel sad, I actually felt angry about it since it seemed like a forced retread of Season 1's ending. I'm glad they didn't commit to just repeating Season 1's ending, but the way in which they did it was definitely off, she should have been dead realistically.

Even if chopping her lower leg off stopped the infection (honestly all signs indicated it had already progressed far beyond her leg) then she'd still be bleeding out in a shack surrounded by walkers with only a five year old for help. I mean maybe AJ could have gone for help, but I feel like Clem would have bled out by the time any help arrived, and we've seen walkers break through barriers far stronger than those doors AJ shut so it shouldn't have made a difference either way.

All in all the episode still had a few good moments, the bridge scene was good, and if you let Lilly live then I like that you can take the moral high ground and leave her "shamed" in the results. The way I see it, living a life of shame is a bigger punishment dying proud. Still, overall the episode felt a bit anticlimactic to me.

They generally had help. They weren't stranded in a flimsy building with no supplies and surrounded by walkers.

Exactly.

As soon as it cut to the scene at the Ranch I knew Clementine wasn't dead, it was just too obvious
BeetlePie Mar 26, 2019 @ 1:43pm
Do you know if Clementine dies if you tell AJ he's not ready to make hard calls?

I told Aj he was not ready and Clem still survived so it does not change anything

If you tell aj that he's not ready Clem will tell aj herself to cut her leg off i think

Then, i guess they did really do the last second decision, beacuse i think that Telltale wanted to do the Original Season 1 ending, but Skybound games had a different idea.

You see, why would they even bother with that entire if i get bit scene? Or that scene in barn, her eyes were clearly looked a lot like she was turning, but magically the infection dissapeared?

No, I told him he's not ready and he made the decision to cut Clems leg off himself. You don't get that option no matter what as far as I know, it's all AJ's idea.

Telling him he's not ready does determine whether or not he'll shoot Tenn or let Louis/Violet die saving Tenn though. So it really just determines who dies on the bridge.

I was so emotionally invested in Clementine and now she is optionally dead or optionally lost a leg and optionally lesbian, like wtf? How am I suppose to like The Walking Dead now?

There's no option for having Clementine be dead at the end, not counting game overs anyways.
Athaz Mar 26, 2019 @ 2:13pm
If you look better, you'll see that the ending is ambiguous . It might be a dream or it might be real. In my ending AJ sees Abel lying dead by the tree outside the school gates
