Clementine = Immune?!
Clem could be immune?
My theory:

After we thought Clem would die from the bite at the bridge, AJ had the choice to kill or spare her. He decided for himself to chop her leg of which saved her life. Now comes the crazy part:
What if Clem could be immune to the bite's infection/temperature, which you get shortly after being bit?
What if her body still has a little amount of the virus in it and just started resisting against it?
It's the same as you probably know, with getting a vaccine against a disease, which has a little amount of the disease itself in it so the body starts resisting/getting immune.
Maybe it's like Ellie from The Last of Us. Her body also mutated against the cordyceps virus.

This just came in my mind and I want to see what you think about this theory! Let me know what your thought's are about Clementine possibly being immune!

I've given a thought or two about Clem being immune too, but if she really is immune then AJ chopping off her leg to "save" her would result in just making her cripple for no reason. No way of knowing sadly if she could be immune unless you ask one of the devs I guess.

No I meant that she is immune after all this happened. I meant that maybe a little part of the virus is in her after the bite and the amputation, which makes her immune.

The virus is in everyone to begin with. The zombie bites don't actually transmit the virus that turns you into a walker, it's already dormant in them, which is why they'll turn from nearly any death and not just walker bites. Walker bites are just filled with all sorts of bacteria and other nasty surprises which is part of why they're so lethal.

"The rule is WHATEVER it is that causes the zombies, is something everyone already has. If you stub your toe, get an infection and die, you turn into a zombie, UNLESS your brain is damaged. If someone shoots you in the head and you die, you're dead. A zombie bite kills you because of infection, or blood loss, not because of the zombie "virus.""
-Robert Kirkman

So if Clem were immune to the virus, it would be an immunity she had since day one in this series, she didn't just recently have the virus introduced into her system.

I guess I expressed myself wrong. I meant that she gets immune against the bacteria etc. that's in the bite.

From my point of view and of what I understand in The Walking Dead, there is no virus. Think about it : you die you come back. The bite only gives you a sickness that leads you to your death if you don't take care of it. The creation of walkers in The Walking Dead could only just be that the world just decided to " create " a new rule : now the dead walk and eat the living.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no mention whatsoever in a " virus " in the books.

A fair point. Perhaps I worded things wrong, I was simply meaning to point out that whatever it is that causes people to turn is something universal and it isn't introduced by walker bites. At best walker bites can result in a dormant condition becoming active (and even that's speculative).

This reminds me of when people thought Rick Grimes is immune.

Nobody is immune yet. And hopefully it stays that way.

You may know this, but theres a time in the WD story where weapons are poisoned with zombi blood in order to cut and infect and convert Grime's people into zombies. At first, they dont know what the hell is happening. So, why does Clementine live after her leg is cut with an infected axe? (of course i LOVE she is still alive, but... I couldnt help but wonder).
