I agree with you. While others seem to think it was intuitive, I don't think it was either and got frustrated before looking for this type of thread and figuring out what to do. I feel stupid in hindsight. Had I not had to watch the entire cinematic again each time, it would not have been nearly as frustrating.

I feel like the fact that they said "you cannot fight the herd" made it rather obvious. Hell, I didn't even know you could kick the zombies, I just assumed you had to avoid them.

There's a glitch, bug, god knows what, when you kick a zombie you can't walk away. There's an invisible way that keeps you stuck in place. Then you just die repeatedly and have to keep replaying sections. it's incredibly aggravating.
