I know, it's really stupid especially after Clem asking Javi to learn her and AJ about baseball.
Javier is indeed a great character but honestly i think the story from his perspective with his family is complete, he would be a great father for both Clem and AJ and thats what i was hoping to see, them reunite and interact again.
I'm not gonna lie I enjoyed Season 3 way more than the Final Season because of things like this and it had so much better side characters in my opinion.
Clem was like 11 when she raised AJ and acted as his mom even though in this season she looks more like a big sister and terrible mom in my opinion.
My problem with this plothole is just that it doesn't make any sense. Why would Clem not try to go back to Richmond, wouldn't she be worried about her friends and vice versa? What about AJ growing up without a father figure or any friends it's frustrating really.
She says why in the Episode 4 flashback: "Can't get back to Richmond... this whole area is a warzone."
Makes sense after what she just witnessed. That whole scene was ♥♥♥♥♥♥. If they would have made it a choice, I'd have moved on as well (and I actually like Javi).
Her journey is over and she has her happy ending and I don’t want that being compromised by a potentially bad season.
There are other characters walking dead could continue from.
The loose ends that are Molly, Mike, Arvo, the surviving Richmond cast and Lilly are all possible routes the story could take.
Also the 400 days characters who were built up for no reason and thrown away.
I get what you mean but honestly if TellTale ever develops a TWD 2 it should not be about Clem nor anybody she met and hopefully they won't make the same mistakes by centering every single issue around one person, Clementine.
