Sooo Carver is actually AJ's dad right?
The similarities are too obvious, AJ has a much more crude and brutal way of dealing with certain situations; (See Carver for example) and while it could be argued that AJ is simply a child that looks up to Clem, his behavior is second to none of Carvers. Think about it.

I think that he is Alvin's but being born in ZA is probably what made what he is. It's not that he is evil, he just doesn't think it is a big deal. Although out of character you can see his child traits appear after he execute Marlon, making that "Child misbehaviour" face except that he isn't stealing candy from a store and his parents got him doing it, he is blasting somebody heads off because this is ZA.

Take a look at Tenn's character, he always or at least for the most part had the safety of his encampement and is peaceful, except for when he finds out about the truth but I guess anyone would lose it in that situation. AJ was in the middle of a shootout when he was a couple days old, got abducted by jackasses that didn't bother to use meds on him by thinking he would die anyway.

I don't know if that's necessarily how genetics work.. Also the main reason AJ is brutal is because he's been raised into a brutal world.
