Also Season 3 is not nearly as bad as many people make it out to be.
Most players were just angry because they expected "Clementine Simulator 3.0" and she is just a side character in the game and the story is mostly about new people.
The story itself is totally fine and fits into the Walking dead world. I did not like it any less then Season 2 which was already a big downgrade compared to Season 1.
So if you liked Season 2 and dont need to have Clementine as the focus then New Frontier is a good entry in the series. Its overall a bit short but still, get in the upcoming summer sale for like 75% off and then you are prepared for Season 4.
Dude the choices made so little difference they didnt even change the animations for some things. I both played and watched several variations, the exact same people died virtually every time.
Its true that a lot of people, myself included, did not like having to play as the deadbeat baseball washout that cheated with his brothers wife and then smoked pot around the kids.
I personally classify a game as bad when I desperately hope that all of the main cast dies, just so they will stop bothering me.
So like every single Telltale game ever released? NONE of these games have any meaningful choices that change anything. The main narrative will always convert back to the same path shortly after.
As for the characters, its fair if you did not like them and thus did not like the game.
That is your right. I myself had no problem with Javier and his family and found them refreshing and was interested in their story and fate so that was not a point of critic for me.
Best fricking description of season 3 ever made XDXDXDXDXD
Another factor that nobody is mentioning in why so many people dislike season 3 is because, when finaly in season 2 we got several diferent endings, so diferent, and people got so emotional with the Kenny vs.Jane thing that seeing how Telltale decided to then simply resume how all those endings in a stupid 1 minute flashback. Jane just leaves you and Kenny dies in the most random and stupid way, fans of any of the characters felt ultimately betrayed.
And yes, as mentioned by many before during years prior and after season 3, I´m sorry, but this is Clem´s story, having her a secondary character in season 1 was nice, but in season 3 there´s no real reason to introduce a new protagonist and have her be this crazy and apathic violent girl. If they wanted to have Miguel they should have made another Walking Dead game, same universe, not the same series, just like in TV they didn´t replace the cast of Walking Dead with the one of Fear the Walking Dead, they just made another show.
He is not wrong because its his personal opinion. If he likes season 3 more then season 2 then that is his right. People need to get over this " only my opinion is the right one!".
