help with floating rock bug

so i'm at one of the dig sites at dinosaur canyon i've cleared out all of the rocks and dirt i've got most of the fossil / inspect-able rocks but theirs this one that's floating in the air and i cant reach it, its not the first time this has happened at dinosaur canyon but before it was a small rock and the ones that fossils in them were larger size rocks so i wasn't concerned about that one but this one is a similar size to the rest of the rocks that have fossils in them and could have a fossil in it but i cant reach it, i've been scouring the site looking for the smallest amount of dirt or rock in hopes the thing will fall to the ground but nothing. Has anyone run into this problem and been able to solve it, its the site in dinosaur canyon with the utah raptor

not every big rock has bone in it. Check, if you can finish dino without it.

I have the same issue, but at the underwater dig in Dinosaur Canyon. I cleared away all the dirt I could find and it left several chunks of rock floating in the water. When I came back after a trip to the museum, most of them had fallen down and were able to be moved, but one is still floating there. I know it has a bone in it, I can actually see the bone sticking out, but I can't interact with it in any way except bumping into it.

Usually there is a tiny small dirt somewhere down on the ground or somewhere else that prevent that one to fall down to the ground, it happened to me too until I saw a tiny little dirt and I took that away and it fell down from the sky lol

If you have cleared all the dirt/rocks from this stone, just go to the museum and come back, it'll be on the floor.
