Mission: Missing Artifact

Does anybody know where to get the Golden Octahedron? i have all the relics from both the citadel and the adamntium shop. I have explored every planet i have found and i only have The 4th part of the messages and the final Lumae Comms mission left

Is it just due to an anomaly text that I have missed? The only info i have is on the Anomaly text saying that they jettisoned it

Did you ask the uloquoo trader? As far as I remember, they share a story about it

They dont have any stories to share and searching through the log doesnt seem to have any results. Ill try again when i get home

So after finishing the Lunae Comms, the ulopuoo traders now have the story. I suppose I was a little impatient, i just had a feeling the game was close to finishing

AFAIR the octahedron is, as a side quest, wholly removed from the main quest. You should have had the story available before

I found the octahedron but now I cannot find where furry natives are to return it to them.
Its one thing that really bugs me about this game is that it doesnt track locations of things for you in your quests.

You can check your logs and set a filter to find the entry, which will include coordinates to the planet.

with right click on the star map (I hink it was right click) you can set notes. use that extensively. Also, as Vardis said, the search function in the logs is really handy

This is very out of date. New coordinates for it are: 19.67 x -52.76

I'm starting to think it's randomized then. Perhaps there's a list of possible coordinates, and one is randomly selected for the actual location when the game is started? I haven't done any extra playthroughs to test that theory though.

tho wouldn't know what exactly to search there, "octahedron" perhaps? I think I already completed it in the saves I still have

I have found and returned artifact if I remember correctly. But later I communicated with Traders for coordinates and quest is still active in the mission log. Is it a bug or I am suupposed to do something else?

I also accidentally found the octahedron before buying the story from the Ulooquo. No I have an incomplete mission log that states "The Ulooquo have transmitted the location of the artifact." Is it the same for you?

I think I have the same issue.
