Time could be a factor too but I'm pretty sure they didn't invest much budget like in H2 even though IOI was struggling financially at that time.

I recall a developer in the Hitman Discord server said they wanted to do a scene where Jason Portman awkwardly meets Helmut Kruger on the Farewell mission but couldn't because they ran out of character budget. Argentinian accents was also planned but scrapped in favour of Chinese accents for the Chongqing location due to limited budget as well.
They're also aware about players wanting to revisit 47's old home, Ort-Meyer's asylum, in the final mission but scrapped that idea because they thought it'd be hard (even though they have done an asylum level before), possibly because of limited budget again.

Well then, I'm hopefully eagerly waiting for a remaster a few years from now with such features promised. I also wanted to revisit the asylum, it would have been the best thing ever to see it in high detail, all over again. Perhaps they would combine the train and the asylum in a single mission, sort of like what they did with Berlin.

Well the game is 50% off at the moment over on epic. So if the game is released on steam, it should be at least 50% off during launch week.

Does anyone know if you wait to steam, it’ll be possible to get the signature suit with gloves? The #1 thing that bugs me, it being on the cover and title screen and everything, but in game the default suit does not have gloves. I feel like that is something they shouldn’t have locked behind limited time challenges.

If you have it already in Hitman 2 then because progress and items can carry over you'll keep it.

Otherwise there is no guarantee that you will be able to obtain it or any other ET reward, however going on precedent from Hitman 1 and 2 the ET's will probably cycle around for a second run like they did in Hitman 1 and 2 in which case you should be able to obtain all ET rewards.

They barely cycled other ETs that barely gave you anything. Nne Obara, The Chef (or whatever, idc) and other ETs from HITMAN and HITMAN 2 have not returned.
