hitman 2 pc keyboard setting/controls

when in game and prompted to press ENTER key for Understood nothing happens when I press ENTER. Using Keyboard and mouse settings. No Controller plugged in. Controller option is greyed out. Any suggestions. This is causing me to be unable to proceed in the game.

i'm not sure but you could try disabling steam input under game properties in steam.

i know you said no controller connected but maybe that setting is getting in the way anyway.

right click hitman 2 in steam library
click properties
click controller
