How to pop the Drop the Mike challenge in Mumbai?

It seems like you're just supposed to kill Rangan while he's holding the prisoner, but it's not unlocking when I kill him. Is there something I'm missing?

Be on the floor above him while he's holding the mole by the throat and shoot Rangan (I tried whilst on same floor and it never worked for me). You want Rangan's body to drop off the edge and into the cement below (you'll unlock another challenge for doing it). You should then unlock Drop the Mike and once the mole runs off you'll unlock another challenge once the mole is far enough down the tower.

Hmm something's messing up then. I tried it above too. Do you need to use a silenced weapon or anything like that?

Hi Steamy and hidden alias replies,
This does not work. It must be bugged? Done it more than 10 times now, silenced weapon the most. It will not complete. The other rewards, Mole another day and Mumbai cement award will complete.

Anyone?

Im really sorry I tried to remember what ended up working for me to unlock it. I think I just kept trying it and eventually it popped

that worked on my side, but u have to wait, till Rangan starts pushing him, then shoot Rangan in the head(but I did it month ago)

Hello guys, thanks for the 2 replies. Yes I always wait until Rangan pushes the mole and then shoot him silenced in the head from above. He falls in the concrete below, the mole survives and screams for help. Any other suggestions?

I had trouble with this as well, but I finally worked it out. Here is what I did:

I noticed that the dialogue between Rangan an the mole changes depending on whether you've already killed Vanya Shah or not. At first I was trying to get the challenge after killing Vanya, and I was getting nowhere.

So I started a new game, from the Barge, and went up the tower through the elevator shaft. When I arrived to the 4th floor I knocked out the guard near the shaft, took his magentic card and his disguise, and got into position in order to watch the interrogation scene between Rangan and the mole.

Once Rangan grabed the mole from the neck, I waited until he said his first line (I don't remember exactly what he says, but it's something like "The view is nicer from up here"), and then I shot him (Rangan) in the head from behind (I was behind the line of sight of the guards).

I hope it works out for you too!
