Standard is the full game then you have the two expansions same as most other games, the only difference is a free version is also available. Then there are the Legacy Packs which are the previous game ported to this game.
It really isn't complicated and simply reading the store page descriptions will tell you what each thing is.
Silver Edition contained Standard + Expansion 1 (and is no longer available), Silver to Gold doesn't contain all content it only contains Expansion 2 and is designed for people who bought Silver Edition.
Use a little common sense, why would a game that costs $75 for the full content also sell all content for $25?

Just don't see a silver edition in the store. I'm not sure why the game had to be sold with different maps to purchase individually. Instead of just selling the game with everything already included. Like any other normal game.
Im not sure why I'm getting all sorts of sarcastic remarks when I'm just trying to understand. Anyway, I appreciate the help.
The Silver edition isn't sold any more. Silver had the first part of the Expansion pass, Gold had both. It's not all too different from a game that has a Deluxe edition with part of the post-release content and an Ultimate or Gold edition that has all of the post-release content. It's pretty common practice, IO just named them differently.
You have Standard Edition which is the basegame and includes the bulk of the content, then you have the expansions which contains a little extra content for those who want more. It's the same deal with any other game that includes dlc.
I appreciate that. I'm sorry that i just had a difficult time understanding. I understand now.
Not arguing that. Sometimes there's sales where you wonder why they charge more for a base game than the base game with a dlc. I get what you're saying. I suppose I was looking for clarification.
