Can't pick up the incriminating evidence on Miami

Hello everyone, I searched about this and didn't found anyone with this problem, as the title says I can't pick up the evidence from the van on the Miami mission doing the Pretty in Pink challenge, the prompt doesn't show up, no matter the disguise, if I have the briefcase on hand or not, etc, nothing, anyone knows why this is?

Oh also she already finished the race, I was gonna do as the mechanic but since the race was ending I changed to the mascot suit (also because it was on the preview pictures on Steam :p)

You may have waited too long, some triggers must be done before certain events happen

Oh I see thanks, but why hasn't the challenge/opportunity failed or Diana say anything about the challenge/opportunity not available anymore and still show that I can do them and putting markers and such? I thought that's how it was on the first one, it would fail, give you a prompt on the left side and Diana would say something about it being too late to do that, or am I remembering it wrong?

If you know about an opportunity and are close enough to the action, yes, Diana will give you feedback about the opportunity ending.

If you never learn about it, you won't hear anything. Ditto if you overhear the intro to an opportunity, but ignore it and go do something else on the other side of the map rather than grab an expected costume needed for the opportunity to proceed.

Yes but I have the opportunity active and Diana didn't say anything except that "the race has ended 47", and that's it, the opportunity still says to grab the evidence and it's still not failed on the opportunities screen, here's the screenshot of that:

Start over, get there faster and don't use a save point

Ok got it, I had another save when I was trying to get the pneumatic screwdriver or whatever it is, I forgot, and I got the car keys and the evidence before luring and stealing the flamingo disguise, then it worked all fine, should have tried that first I guess, but it's still a bug that you can't get the evidence if you get the flamingo outfit first, you should be able to get it regardless, if it had failed the opportunity or Diana said something I could understand because then the evidence would be useless since you can't do it anymore, but since it was active and all that and Sierra was only then stopping, getting out of the car it should be able to be done still. I will submit this bug to their feedback/bug report channel to see if they fix this because that shouldn't happen.

Thanks a lot again guys, I guess I should have tried this first before opening this thread, but hey maybe this will help someone else that comes across this bug.
