Is the Sieker under-rated?
There are a lot of useless junk in our inventory, and rather than name all of them, I will say that up until this last ET, I thought the Sieker was on the list of useless items. Other than just a long distance syringe for easy "Hold my Hair" challenges, I didnt think it could be useful at all. But, I saw someone clear the chapel room for the ET with it, and now I am hooked on it. I used to bring a Sniper or SMG just for the heck of it, in case I wanted to change it to a "Kill em All" or whatever, but, now I am taking it on almost everything, and using it to get people out of the way then drop it for guards to take care of. My new use for the Sieker has changed how I think about the game now. I just got back into Hitman a few weeks ago after being gone since before H2, so, I am trying to redo all the challenges from H1, and using the Sieker in ways I never would have used a Syringe previously (you get 3 shots over the 1 with a Syringe, and you can be hidden as you hit them)

What other items should I be looking to use? does anyone use the Muffin, Shaman Powder, or Emetic Grenade successfully on a regular basis?

The muffins are good for any escalation or contract where you're not allowed to pacify anyone as they only knock the person down, so you yeet it at their head and they get knocked over giving you a chance to sprint past them before they get back up.
OOOooohhh... I guess that is one way to use them. I was using them for distractions, make them look away, how does hitting them affect your rating? Tossing them like I coin doesnt change the alert levels of the guards where knocking them out does, if their friend finds them. Will it negate your SASO?

It doesn't knock them out, they just trip and get back up. They'll be on alert for a little since they just got knocked over by something but it won't affect your SA rating provided noone saw you actually throw it as then they'd know it was you and you'd become compromised the same as if it were any other item.

Both dart guns (kalmer and sieker) are among the most powerful tools you have as neither will break an SA rating unless you are seen shooting them. Making people fall asleep or get sick from a distance gives you positional control over people and then you still have the gun itself you can drop or place to distract another guard

What other items should I be looking to use? does anyone use the Muffin, Shaman Powder, or Emetic Grenade successfully on a regular basis?

I don't use the gas grenade often, but I do use the Remote Emetic Gas Device (triggered) as it's easier to position and trigger it yourself, plus you can hide the device in a briefcase and just leave it places. Tricking a civilian to bring the case to a guard and then setting it off or variations of this.

Muffins only real use is for speed running contracts where you can't knockout people since they can be used to knock people down

Shaman powder is very niche, but it does replace the regular flash grenade since you can be seen carrying it openly, where as flash grenade is illegal to even have in your hands. Personally I prefer the robot as it can be reused as a distraction device until you are ready to explode it.

Both dart guns, all 3 phones and the robot are the tools I probably use the most

The Shaman Powder is a legal to carry impact triggered concussion grenade. You're thinking of the magnesium pouch which is flash, and unless they changed it since I last used it it's an illegal item to carry openly.

You're right, I am thinking of the magnesium pouch as replacement for flash grenade

Shaman replaces concussion grenade ~ in which case, yea I don't use concussion grenades, either type. Even the triggered concussion explosives I don't use other than to mess around pointlessly. Concussion knockout bodies break an SA rating if found, and are noisy enough to attract attention, so they aren't much use for anything unless you wanted to both knock someone out and create a simultaneous noise distraction, but you'd still have to hide the bodies ~ I'm sure someone might find a use for that (but not me)

As for flash grenades/Shaman powder, I only ever use them as a joke, what is an example of using them strategically?

Speaking of the Sieker, did it get nerfed or I'm just crazy? I recall that if the body of someone sedated by that gun was found it didn't break SA, but it does now. It's still good for knocking someone out from a distance though.

The Sieker is as OP as the electrocution phone. Shoot target undected, follow to toilet, kill undetected.

Only if you move the body, if you leave it won't affect you SA when found.

As for OP the Sieker is absolutely amazing, is just so versatile, also you can use the same ammos for Kalmer. Whenever I don't know what to take I grab either or both.
