how do I get Novikov on stage?

I knocked out the stylist and hid him, I listened to the guards talking about the lightning rig and now I'm just waiting. no models have been on the runway for ages, but novikov just stands there. he isn't moving from the dressing rooms at all now.

how can I finish this challenge please as I'd really like to get my poison and move on with the game. I really want the poison before moving on though so I must keep doing this france mission.

Your best bet here is to restart and try again.

yeah I did it again and had the mission finished in ten minutes tops. I had just done the events a jumbled up way round and it didn't work.

you should always go and listen to those two argue back stage, get rid of the dude, get the crowbar and then go up to the rig and he goes on stage pretty soon.

I had time to garote the woman as she was meeting that fashion guy. I got her body guard to go into the bathroom and subdued him, waited for helmut to leave and then killed her and hid her before the other guard could come back in.

Basically get rid of Sebastian Sato by inserting a coin into the diorama and subduing him later on and that should be it

yeah dude. I had just done things my own way so some triggers didn't happen. in order for it to work you must go and listen to them argue back stage first, then subdue sato, then get a crowbar and then go up to the rig,following the on screen prompts basically. (the first time I tried I did it all in a random order and novikov was frozen in place)

He will be on stage in about 3 minutes after you get up there, that gives you enough time to garote the woman and stash her in a cupboard as the meeting with that fashion guy should coincide.

worth noting you must garote her unless you stash the stationary guard in this room prior. you can bait her body guard to the bathroom and get rid of him, and the normal guard from the room leaves for the meeting.

I have found that just leaving that guard is fine as long as you garote her as you can get her stashed in the wardrobe faster this way.

of course getting rid of this guy is easy as well, and if you don't already have a circada uniform on this run theres one for you there.

he's actually one of the better circada to grab as you can hide him. I normally come up the outside of the building and grab one from the balconies, but you can never hide the body and it knocks your score down.

it's not exactly easy to get across the top floor without a disguise though. it might be worth getting the sheiks costume or something. I have not done this yet though, going to do it on my next run.

PS: this is why I use the outside of the building a lot to traverse this level. thing is I need to learn it better so I know which side is which. if you climb up the wrong part it will take you a very long time to get round the outside of the building. however if you know exactly which bit to climb for where you need to be, this is the best way to do this level I feel.

You can climb up, garote the woman and then get poison from her and poison the dude.

well I guess the easiest way is to start as tech, grab the fireworks button thing. run outside and scale the building up to her balcony and set the fire works off. push her onto him. sorted.

the world record is like 30 seconds or something. do you think they use this method?

The fastest method for paris is starting as the tech, triggering the fireworks on spawn, shooting viktor in the hall next to you before he even meets with his bodyguard and then running out the back to the chopper and picking off dalia while standing next to the exit and shes up on the balcony

If you waste any time climbing you won't get anywhere near 30 seconds, you have time to run from your spawn point to the exit and make 2 shots in between, anything slower than that you wont be anywhere near this time

I gotta say, this is one of the worst mission stories if you have to wait that long in order to kill Novikov and even when that time comes, you're likely gonna cause some casualties because some models may stay on the catwalk, ruining your SA rating.
At least seeing the stage being smashed with a light rig looks cool but jeez, it takes forever for Novikov to get on stage.

It seems like Novikov "waits" for you to get ON the light rig, so you are able to loosen it manually with a crow bar in time.

Once you got rid of the stylist, Novikov will eventually announce to take his speech and then stand behind the stage "forever" until you are above the stage.

In the beginning i didnt get you could climb there, so i always threw an explosive next to the holding and blew the rig. I could get Novikov to move by bumping into him while he is waiting, so he walks on stage and I blew the rig.

However, that didnt complete the mission story achievement for me. I only got it when I used the crowbar.

For me I have been waiting for five minutes i put emetic rat poison in sato's champagne and set the diorama i got the crowbar and i am on the light rig but helumut passed by and novikov isnt moving
