.rpkg files

I have Hitman 2 installed on PC, on E: disk. However, in my C: disk I see bunch of .rpkg files (dlc1.rpkg, chunk0.rpkg...)
I was wondering are these some temp files that I can delete (they took up most of my C disk space when I ran WinDirStat), or they are crucial for running the game?

Just checked my own installation which is very similar, there were no H2 .rpkg files present on the boot drive.

Perhaps they are orphaned files, but unless they are somehow junctioned I would suggest they are duplicates and safe to delete. The rpkg files used by the game should all appear in the Runtime folder (Steam\steamapps\common\HITMAN2\Runtime).

Thanks. I don't think I dare to delete them after all.

They contain all the game's assets. (textures, models, sounds etc.) If you delete them the game won't work.
