The game is on normal volume when using my wireless USB headset.
Everything is fine there, already checked this (100% volume).
Sound of the game in soundmixer is at 100%. Sound ingame is set to 100%.
I'm not sure what you mean but all the options I know are at 100%.
Soundmixer? are you running an older version of windows like 7 or XP? or you mean volume mixer?
Have the game running and alt+tab out of the game back into windows.
Go to settings/System/Sound
Down the bottom of that there will be "other sound options" and under that "app volume and device preferences"
Make sure the volume for both steam and the game are set to max.
Both steam and hitman are set to max, doesn't fix my issue though.
Steam and hitman are both maxxed out. Also the active device is the device I'm trying to hear the sound from.
Can you tell me where this soundmixer is? there is no default windows app called soundmixer, if it really is called soundmixer, it maybe you have a 3rd party sound config from what ever soundcard you have, that could cause problems then.
I wasn't trying to be rude, but as I said there are thousands of 3rd party sound mixers, making sure you are using the correct one is needed to help resolve your problem.
Is this the only game that is experiencing this low volume on?
As a long shot, doubt it will work but anything is worth a try, in steam right click on the game and select "Properties" in that window lower down there should be a check box for the "in game steam overlay" Uncheck it and see if it makes a difference.
Laptop speakers run on 2 channel and dont recieve all the data. Its loke removimg the rear, center and sub from a 5.1
U r left with literally 1/3 or less of the sound. Headphones should work fine because the game has them programmed in.
