Okay, quick question, is it possible to get the briefcase without buying hitman 2 (by using the free version of the game, because I own hitman 1)

If not, then thats fine, however, is it possible to get the briefcase in the first maps of hitman 1, without playing thru hitman 2 maps (if I own hitman 2)?

The default briefcase is given as a reward for the Miami map.

There is a briefcase awarded for (I believe, could be wrong), buying Hitman 2, and also having the legacy content.

There is a briefcase awarded for having the executive pack (bonus for Silver/Gold edition, and by some reports, buying the expansion pass).

There is a briefcase awarded for achiving the "Classics" challenges on all H2 maps for some difficulty.

What I'm uncertain of though, is if you actually do just have to play through Miami at least to access any briefcase.

All agency pickups in missions have now been converted to a briefcase. You do just have that now.

Almost certain that will be the case in the remastered missions, with or without unlocking any briefcase.

Yes. All agency pickups come in a briefcase, regardless of map. But there are specific briefcases you can bring along separately and those are only Hitman 2 unlocks.

I just checked, the briefcase is a thing if you bring a weapon with you to the map, even if you dont own H2. This is actually super cool!

If you own Hitman (2016) you are given the aluminum briefcase along with your legacy pack free without unlocking anything

I just checked, the briefcase is a thing if you bring a weapon with you to the map, even if you dont own H2. This is actually super cool!

Yes it's also the agency drop off container now, theres also several laying around the maps in offices and such

I have Hitman GOTY edition, after finishing downloading the legacy pack ,i boot Hitman 2 and unlock the requiem pack and black winter suit but I don't have the aluminum briefcase unlocked -_-

What the ♥♥♥♥, I feel so cheated. I'm reinstalling the first game and rectifying this issue. I sure as ♥♥♥♥ didn't get those unlocks for having the first game.
