Issue Unlocking Kalmer 1 Tranquilizer
Hello,

I am having a problem unlocking the Kalmer Tranquilizer gun. I found on the internet that this weapon could be unlocked by completing all three required mission stories in Whittleton Creek. I subsequently completed that task but found that the gun still wasn't unlocked. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

You need the actual challenges (listed in the challenge - feats menu) and not the story blocks (as listed in the mission story menu)

The specific challenges (in feats) that you need are named:
Mission Story - Breadcrumb Trail
Mission Story - House For Sale
Mission Story - An Apple A Day
Mission Stories - Whittleton Creek

You may have completed the stories in the Story Menu without following through and completing the challenges in the Challenge Menu, that they were leading you into. It's two different triggers.

Don't bother. The weapon is UTTERLY useless. I fired it at a patrolling guard in Hawke's Bay, and he hollered and began shooting at me. About the ONLY way it's useful is if you equip it and sneak up on someone to select the Eliminate option...but, how is that any different than simply putting a sleeper hold on your target? Useless.

Sounds like someone needs to get good. You are hilariously wrong.

Thanks for the information! I didn't realize that it was refering to the feat, not completion of the mission story itself. It turns out that I didn't do every step of Breadcrumb Trail right, and upon cheaking its feat, I saw that it was incomplete. I just completed it and now unlocked the Tranquilizer. Thanks!

Not funny, clever boy, and it is YOU who are [in no way hilarious] wrong. You hit flesh, he goes down. There's no "good enough" for that not to work.
I'm done here. There's NOTHING you can tell me that will change my mind.

Cringe reply. Whatever. It does work for normal people.

You obviously haven't figured out how to use it correctly. It's quite a useful tool for certain speed runs.

Of course if you aren't speed running then it's redundant, you have alternatives that are just slower to deploy.

I have just started using it, and I think it is one of the best weapons in the game.

It does work, but once every once in a while (roughly 40 times), it doesn't work

Isn't that the weapon which bullet travels in an arc? Meaning you have to aim up to insure the dart hits if the target is walking away from you.

I've never shot it from far enough away to test that theory, but the aiming reticle does imply it shoots on an arc. I've only ever used it for convenience when trying to go faster, not for long range knock outs
