"Discover Sapienza" Challenge Bugged
Is it just me or I cant find the 47th area in Sapienza level? When I check the map and go through the elevation levels i dont see any indicators left to explore on the map I have the other 46 locations discovered.

Yes, it's bugged. I checked the official forum and... well quite a few people have this problem, myself included. Some say it's because you discovered new areas outside of the main mission: while playing the escalation contract or the patient zero mission. Such areas get marked on the map but don't count for the challenge. Solution? Just hope developers fix this eventually or forget about this challenge.

There are more locations per map than the number required for the challenge and not all of them show on the map

Some of them are tiny little corners of bigger areas or small storage rooms that aren't marked

Still doesn't help when I went back throughout the level and nothing else triggered as "discovered" Im still at 46/47 still no indicators left on map.

Did you step up on that platform in the cave that sits in front of the containment building? Theres a console there as well to turn off the air flow... that tiny platform has a 'discovered' spot which took me awhile to find.

That would explain it because i played the bonus levels for sapienza and did discover some of the location but apparently one became bugged in the process just great.

Any news regarding this bug? Are they going to fix it or not?

PEOPLE OF THE FUTURE:

Sorry for the Necro, but this helped me, and I'm willing to bet that 95% of the people claiming to have a "bug" of 46/47 in Sapienza have the Garage missing. It's impossible to tell because the virus blue icon is over the location missing icon in the map. If you go to the 2nd or 1st floor (cant remember) over the virus in the map and zoom in, you will see the location missing icon.

To make it even easier, just smuggle something to the garage, and go to the location with the icon on it.
