Live to Mole Another Day... bugged?

In Mumbai, when Dawood holds the mole by his throat, I kill Dawood wearing a bodyguard disguise, unseen. So far, so good. NPCs go into "Searching" status but when this is over, the fricking mole gets back to his spot AND SITS DOWN AGAIN. Is he waiting for someone else to throw him from the tower? Obviously, the challenge then never pops.

Is this bugged or am I doing it wrong?

Should unlock as soon as your bullets hits the target. At least that's how it was in my game.

The mole will then get up and run to the next guard to get help.

For me he gets up with an exclamation mark, runs down the next stairs, through the office until he is almost at the bottom of the stairs leading to the film/photo shooting floor. There he waits until the searching status is over, then he goes back up again and sits down at his cozy panoramic spot as if nothing had happend...

Tried it with a new save, both on Casual and Professional - no dice.

Unlocks right when you kill him. No idea why it won't work for you. There seems to be some trouble for some people unlocking challenges lately. Try it again just like in the video and if it's still not working you should consider doing the challenge some other time. Hopefully they'll release a patch soon to fix this ♥♥♥♥.

This was basically how I did tried it. The smug jerk just gets back to his seat... Oh well, another one to join the list of bugged challenges :/

The trick is too kill Rangan when he’s grabbing the mole. Killing him before that bespoke animation resulted in the behavior your describe.

Got the challenge now. It seems I had to also kill the bodyguard standing at the start of the plank. Then the mole got up, ran away, challenge popped...

Well, congrats. In my game I didn't have to interact with any bodyguards. A long range bullet did the trick.
