Hitman 2-Demo or Not??

i just found out hitman 2 free install is just a demo?? I reinstalled all my first hitman game content ,purchased $10.00 goty legacy pack for h2. after i uninstalled and reinstalled the free h2 took all day and some for all this to happen . now steam store tells me i can't access legacy pack unless i have ownership of h2 ; same with trying to purchase h2 expansion pass, but store also shows i have h2 in my library???? now is my hunch correct? if i purchase h2 standard will game automatically install off the free h2 version as a continuation or will i have to uninstall again and install the purchased standard version so the game keys don't conflict.????what should i do ??? Before the Winter Sale is over!

yes, it will update on existing free version.
decided to purchase h2 gold comes w/h2 expansion pass at 37% sale.

When you buy Hitman 2 it will just update your existing free version.

The Prologue is free, it's not a demo, but it is just one episode of the game. Unlocks and experience carry over from the prologue into the rest of the game if you buy it.
