Need some explanation on the lore.
Is 47 balding or does he just shave his head every morning ?
Thanks in advance.

Yep, He's always been bald

This has actually never been addressed in any of the lore in any of the titles. One should be careful not to engage in the faulty logic of syllogism: While it is very true that he's "always" been bald, it's fallacious to assume that it's a matter of genetics; he could have been shaving his scalp since birth, been trained to. We never see him shave, just as we never see him perform any other toilet activities. The single possible exception is that we observe 47 remove his tattoo in a fit of disgust in Absolution…but, somehow the tattoo is still visible afterwards, undamaged and unmarred by scarring.

All the other clones were hairless as well. Including the ones still in the Vats... He's genetically engineered to be the perfect assassin, part of that is leaving no trace; like a hair sample.

I've always thought that he was born hairless and stayed hairless, to keep hair from being collected as evidence in crime scenes, like how he was genetically modified to have no fingerprints

Lucas Grey, who seems to have come from the same batch, has a full head of hair -- but he admits to having a barcode on the back of his scalp.

I'm not sure the rebooted games are going to follow the original mythology to the letter, though. We'll presumably find out in the next game, since 47's origins look like they'll be the primary topic.

Because these new games ignore previous plot.

47 remembered his past at the end of Codename 47 and he kept remembering it for the Enemy Within novel and Absolution.

The 48's are Bald, 17 was Bald and the clones in Stasis tank-things in Contracts were Bald.

17 is bald, all the 48's were bald, 47 himself and the four other 47's still in their stasis tanks are bald. Pretty safe to assume that all the Ortmeyer clones are engineered to be bald. The whole idea was to create the perfect assassins, can't really be a perfect assassin if you're leaving behind DNA evidence from lost hair.

The only exceptions to that are the Marks from Blood Money, Victoria and Subject 6/Lucas Grey, but they're Franchise clones, an ICA clone and a new character from 2016 where it seems like the whole clone bit was dropped entirely.

Also, that was because most of Absolution has been disregarded as even IOI see it as the black sheep of the series. So basically it either never happened or it did happen just not exactly as it did in the actual game.

Victoria is not from ortmeyers clones at all, she's a completely different corporate creation from the rogue ICA manager and his own research

Subject 6 isn't from the same batch of fathers as 47, he's a different blend
