Controller or kb+m for this game?

Never played a Hitman game before, just wondering which control scheme people find more comfortable for it before I try.

More comfortable? Controller. It works perfectly, since there are only a few times when you actually have to aim.

M&K is kind of a no-brainer. Better control, aim and fluidity. If you want to sit down and relax in bed .. well controller is always there.

let the console peasants play with controller on their $29,90 black friday PS4 while we, the superior master race, play a superior game with mouse + keyboard, we can even make macros like hold a button, we are superior

I am all about the pcmaster race, but bashing console players is going too far. The PCMR thing is more seen as a satire you know?
Well I am a PC gamer, and I enjoy playing Hitman more on Controller. It's more confortable and with my playstyle I don't need to aim often, and if I need prediction I switch to mouse, since you don't need to change any settings or anything it's really fast and easy.

Thanks for the input guys. I played the 2016 demo and I think it's more of a controller game for me, aiming with the mouse doesn't seem as crucial as a fast-paced FPS and I'm really bad at remembering all the different keys for everything.

Like I said, if you want to use the mouse when sniping or something it's no problem to just use the mouse for that moment and then continue using the controller.

Now they fixed the camera hit box, there isn't really any precise aiming needed anymore.

So whatever you are most comfortable. Hitman is not fast paced. People who swears by one or the other probably haven't use the other control set up for years. Whenever I see people going "controller is horrible", is clearly they have never played it with a controller.

This game was really designed for a controller. I'd use an xbox or ps4 controller and you won't regret it.

Depends on your preferences but if you're speedrunning, I recommend keyboard and mouse.
If you like controllers, I still recommend using a mouse whenever you need to have precise aim.

I prefere M&K for aim and because you dont have to hold a button to pik an objet. With keybord you can pik items instant and that is not the case of the controller. I like to play fast so for me is not another option. And the are sniper challanges on all the missions so try to do that on master fast with a controller.

But the problem with this game is that default keyblinds for me at least are just bad I had to change every single key XD
