No idea if it's adressed, but yes, it's very ennoying. I've thought console players were mostly immune to this, leaving only us, KB+mouse PC players with it.
By the sound of it, I'm apparently proven wrong :(
Just watch mrFreeze, especially doing professional mode, the number of times he uses thrown items for knockouts while complaining about the punch glitch will show you what an issue it is even on consoles LOL
I'll do. I've also now come to the fact throwing things is a lot more effective than subduing, even if it never was my primary method.
Thanks for the tip, Kuno.
This bug still sucks, though .... Will need to go ....
In normal mode I just save enough that I can do normal knockouts and take the risk, and just reload if it glitches
But I've been doing a lot of professional mode lately and pretty much 100% rely on thrown knockouts because of the 1 save limitation and not wanting to redo huge portions of a mission
The cowboy bust, best item in the entire game.
No. I use a controller when I play on PC, and I encounter this "bug" as well. You need to VERY CAREFULLY watch for the subdue icon. If it disappears for a split second before you press the button, you'll punch instead of subdue. It's not really a bug as much of a poorly designed hitbox.
Hmmm, we'll have to agree to disagree, here. It's a bug all right ! It sucks big time and serves no purpose but to trap the gamer into a micro event he can't control. It really is a bug.
I really hope to the $Deities it goes with Hitman 2.
