Elusive Target "The Censor" Discussion (Potential Spoilers)
I just completed it and was curious what others thought of the mission. I liked it but as someone who has played this game for a little too much it was a piece of cake identifying him. So maybe a tad too easy in my opinion.

What does everyone else think?

It was an easy mission, it took me maybe 10-15 minutes to identify him and figure out a way to kill him safely.

I waited for him to walk near the stairs then I coin lured him down, knocked out the guy who was already in the basement and then shot the target in the head.
I could have used the electrocution phone for a no effort kill but where's the fun in that.

shot him with the emetic gun and drowned him in the toilet
took me 1 min after entering the party to find him....
the shadow picture is way too obvious, it tells you everything: blue shirt, hair parted in the middle, glasses
no picture or a drawn shadow would have been way harder

Yeah this one was laughably easy. the mission briefing video pretty much tells you exactly where to look & the ET's conversations blow his cover immediately.

I gotta say I was expecting something a lot more complex from this one, like a pre requisite of having to find him before he kills X amount of people, or even one person would've been better than the way the mission played out.

It'd be great to have some sort of ET that changes identities like 47 after taking out NPCs, that you have to track from his trail of carnage & take out before he manages to kill a set number of people. They could've done so much more with this ET than having it set to a small loop in one house & Whittleton Creek would've been the perfect location for such a mission.

Man im dissapointed nothing happened after all those dialogues. IOI sure knows how to have great idea and execute it half baked.

Too easy? Maybe, but I still managed to screw up the mission (in the end I managed to kill him snapping his neck while everyone was watching of couse)... :D
Better than the previous elusive target, at least.!

Unfortunately I was spotted by a guard doing some illegal activities and had to finish the job quickly! :D
I didn't know if I could restart this mission at this point, I didn't even had much time to restart the mission, so I decided to use a more direct approach! As long as it works...

Identifying him was too easy compared The Fugitive mission and again they had given a very easy poison kill. They gave very easy accident kills to all hitman 2 ETs. I was hoping for some more challenging ETs.

Identifying him was laughably easy. He literally mutters grades to himself if you pass by. Though it was nice to hear another character get in on some murder jokes with the NPC's, normally only 47 does that.

As for the kill, I wanted to electrify him in the ground floor bathroom, for he is 1 of 6 NPC's who can go in there. KO'd 3 NPC's, then waited mins for a loop where he would be closest by the bathroom and yeeted a car battery at him for electrocution.

Unfortunately he opened the door JUST as he got hit so everybody was alerted and I ended up getting shot at while running away...

Still, fun ET, if easy.

He's very easy. Didn't want to use electric phone, so I equipped (still cheesy) emetic tranquilizer and did a couple runs trying to perfect my strategy. First floor bathroom was a no go because of all the traffic, so I shot a dart at a random guy in the living room , waited for the target to move to the other side of the kitchen and shot a dart at him. Then followed him to a nice secluded 2nd floor.

Well this is something. The guards in the overgrown garden have a picture of the serial killer on their laptop. You know, in case the very revealing silhouette or the guy at the party grading everything he comes across or Diana literally telling you everything weren't hints enough...

The design behind this ET is bizarre...

The strangest part being there's not even a hint that you were hired to kill this guy for any reason. No victims family paying for revenge, nothing, you are just Vigilante 47 killing a criminal because he's a criminal

All other targets have been either you were hired (even if the reasons were flimsy) or a personal vendetta moving towards providence information

But who is this guy and why are we bothering to kill him without being paid for it?

Easy is an understatement, I didn't even make an effort to do this quickly and it still only took a minute

No serial killer is going to show up 47 when it comes to murdering potential targets...
white2k Oct 25, 2019 @ 3:12pm
Easy or not, the elusive targets are one of the worst aspect of the game, for me. I'm fine that they'are available only for 10 days, but at least give me the possibility to try as many times as I want, not only one. Imagine if you could play a mission only one time, what would be the fun in that?
DrExK Oct 25, 2019 @ 3:16pm
I think it's fun to play. I don't like aggravating missions.
