Textures and graphics look weird

I haven't changed anything in the graphics but they look weird as hell when you look at textures and medium distance, they feel washed up. Anyone getting the same feeling?

What Anisotropic Filtering are you using, 8 or 16x is ideal and shouldn't drastically affect performance. You could also try forcing it via your graphics control panel.

i'm using x16. Even tried putting everything at max which I don't use due to framerate and it still looks bad. It's very weird I guess a recent patch made it happen

Very strange, do you have any screenshots demonstrating the issue? A recent patch did set the Dynamic Sharpening option to medium as default, though that shouldn't make the textures look washed out as you've described.

thats weird i didnt notice any change apart from the dynamic sharpening setting that defaulted to moderate, hitman 2 is super sharp on my monitor, imo some of the best texture work out there, i do get muddy textures when im starting levels but they become razor sharp after a second or two, not even on max settings and it looks great. Are your gpu drivers up to date? it can make a diference

Try disabling dynamic sharpening

Yes it was the dynamic sharpening! Thank you for the help guys, it looked awful in my opinion

Ahh good to hear, I don't use it either though I'm planning to test the effectiveness of Nvidia's recent driver option.

Just as you said, it looks washed up and grainy like a weird filter.
