New york Hostile Termination Bugged?

Athena's gaurds should leave the room but all three of them stayed. Is this a bug?

If you sat down in the correct disguise and waited through her entire speech they should leave when she tells them she wants to talk to you alone

Yep. Known bug. I have never been able to get them to leave the room.

Dress up as the broker wearing sweater (the one being fired) and request a meeting. Eventually, director will tell the guards to leave and will conveniently face the window. That's when you do your thing.
Don't get up too early. Keep sitting in the chair listening to her.

Tried that. Was wearing the broker outfit and sat all the way, the guards refused to move even when she said "Guard! Leave us."

I think its a bug.

I think its a bug.

You might want to verify your game files or even remove and redownload the new york level. That could help.
Or run through the level without saving/loading because that can affect AI behavior if done too many times.

Obviously not a bug, as 7.5% of Steam players have the Lock, Stock, and Barrel achievement and 7.2% have attained Top of the Heap.

Perhaps watch some YT videos, see what you're doing wrong.

Too many save/loads can break AI routines. That's been a problem for every challenge since game launch and the the solution is try again with minimal or no saves. Also corrupt files in a game this size with frequent updates is also possible. Hence the verify suggestion.

So while the event itself may not be bugged for everyone, there are other bugs and issues that can glitch it
