Another Suitcase, Another Face

So, been trying to get this one, but no luck. I've lured each of the 6 pier guards and knocked them out throwing my suitcase without him noticing me first. I've tried hiding each every each knockdown, and I've tried waiting until all 6 were knocked out before hiding them, but no achievement. The only way I see to hide them around the pier is dumping them in the water.
Has anyone completed this, and what am I doing wrong?

I was having the exact same problem. I somehow doesn't seem to work.

There's a bug in which the game doesn't register guards towards the challenge counter if you melee them with the brief case. You have to throw it at the back of their heads. Only then can you toss their bodies in the water and it starts to count.

Knock them out one by one and toss them out the window of the guard room, you'll get a +1 towards the achievement with each one you toss out the window

You need to do it without being spotted, its super easy

You need a black briefcase (do not try to use any custom briefcases, that doesn't work). When you throw your briefcase, knock a guard out and dump him into the sea you should see a counter go up in your top right corner. If it doesn't, you did something wrong.

I used the shiny metal briefcase and everything worked...

You need a black briefcase (do not try to use any custom briefcases, that doesn't work). When you throw your briefcase, knock a guard out and dump him into the sea you should see a counter go up in your top right corner. If it doesn't, you did something wrong.

Also that, I tried with arctic box and it didn't work until I used a normal briefcase. Dunno what's up with reskinned items not registering as the items they are replicating (like the tape measure won't count towards fiber wire kills even though its a reskinned fiber wire).

If you want to be technical, a tool box is not a briefcase. They just both happen to be containers. I don't believe the challenge asked for a toolbox.

If they wanted measuring tape to count for a challenge it would say "garrote" then any garrote would work. As-is, it says fiber wire, and a measuring tape is a garrote, but it's not a fiber wire

Semantics perhaps, but words do have meanings

It's just like the difference between a contract that is set to "poison syringe" in contrast to "poison" (any)

Never thought containers had different classifications. Apparently they do. I read the challenge prompt again afterwards and picked the standard briefcase. The rest was easy.

I used Arctic toolbox, no issues.

Flick the RCD panel when the two smoker guards disappear to the pier, get in the hut, throw the case and KO the first guard. Grab his clothes and dump him out the window after grabbing his gun. do this quickly.

Hide behind the bench and repeat when the 2nd comes back. Defenestrate.

Next, drop a gun in the pathway of the two smoker guards to split them up when they return from the pier (do it with their backs turned as one is an Enforcer), hide behind the bench and make one pick up the gun to drop it in the box in the guardhouse. Drop him out of the window too.

Repeat with the other or just KO him on the way to the pier, he's out of eye range. Into the sea with him.

Two near the steps, drop a gun in plain sight of one and follow into the guardhouse. Rinse, repeat.

Still not getting the achievement. Tried first with the suitcase the sniper rifle was in, which has an X on it, then I restarted and used the leather suitcase from the Constant's office, which didn't work either. This is pretty irritating.

I GOT IT!
Turn out that you can't have done something earlier that makes someone search for you. I restarted and did not make anyone suspicious in the beginning, and it counted up to 6 for each I threw out the window.

Used the toolbox too. Only got 4 of the guards to count however. Tried again, this time super focused on not being too suspicious, and it worked fine.
