Sniper maps are a waste of development resources

Like srsly the season pass is worth 5 bucks so far for the bank level.
That one was nice, not a gargantuan labyrinth like the previous ones. H2 needed 12 of that.

Sniper maps aren't fun to me. Figuring out the right order to kill a bunch of guys that fly 10 meters into the air... seems like a mobile game you'd play on the toilet to me.

I'm a Hitman fan. I don't need sniper maps, ghost mode or co-op. It's a waste. They shouldn't do it. I'd rather have the people doing that have a day off from work than working on a sniper map. I think in the end even that would be more beneficial to the game than making people work on sniper levels and obviously if they divert even the slightest bit of attention from making actual levels for the game in favor of sniper levels then sniper levels need to go.

No one asked for them. No one would have missed them. Count it as a mistake and stop making them IOI.

The entire Hitman Sniper fan base asked for them. It was one of the best selling mobile games of all time. Fans asked for a computer version with more levels. Rather than stand alone they added it as a free mode to the regular game. There was also many requests made for more Sniper Challenge maps when that was released with only one.

Ghost mode was also requested,many asked for pvp, they compromised and did competitive without direct face off

I don't think you've been reading much of the hitman forums if you haven't seen these asked for.

The only thing I don't like in the new sniper map, is the grind to get 20/20 sniper mastery for the sniper rifle upgrade. Even though you get 1.6mil per run with the x3.0 multiplier, it takes forever. It's not fun for me at least. Not even sure you get to use the sniper rifle in other missions or just the Siberia mission; it's pretty ambiguous.

It's only for Siberia, you can check the mastery rewards for the sniper maps same as regular maps. All Sniper maps have the sniper upgrades as their rewards except Siberia which has the Druzhina 34 Arctic too.

gotta love closed minded people, that think the world revolves around them... people enjoy the sniper maps, and just because you dont like it doesnt mean everyone should agree with you, because while they may be different from the main game, a lot of people enjoy the experience...

Exactly! Unfortunately most players are okay with this arcadey BS, but for me it's a major immersion-breaker.

I'm not even against sniper missions if they are done correctly. But the way they are doing them right now, there's no tension, no atmosphere, nothing. It's like we are shooting ducks.

Give us the option to choose normal physics for targets. I don't care if I'm not able to hide bodies as easily, I just can't stand looking at this looney tunes crap.

Completely agree, waste of resources. I played one sniper mission for like 5 mins before i realised i'm not on a mobile phone so i went back to the normal missions.

If they wanna make a mobile game, go ahead, but don't force it in the proper one.

Agreed. Sniper mode is a waste. If they would make one standard location instead of 3 sniper maps, it would bring so much more to the actual game. And we already had sniper mode. Just pack a rifle and camp on a spot of your choice in any of the already available standard locations. Duh!
