Bright green light on map

Hello. I tried free version and on the first map I've got very bright green light all over the place.

However if I go further to the house it becomes less bright.

Is there any fix for this? My video card is Radeon HD 6900 Series and I know it's less powerful than needed, but in first hitman and on legacy maps in HITMAN 2 I don't have such issue.

It's your GPU. Hitman 2 is more demanding than H1.

I use an AMD RX 480. it's a 4 gig card, runs hitman2 perfectly. never had any bugs, not so much as a stutter. For now I'd say turn the graphics down and see what happens. Might fix it.

PS that's a really neat creepy glow though hahaha

Not sure about that, at least minimum requirements are absolutely same on the steam page. And as I said, legacy levels are fine and on 30 FPS. It's only this exact level (I can't tell about other levels, cause I didn't bought game yet)

Graphics is already at minimum on screenshots :( Still not fixed the problem. I wish I had 4gb card too :p

that level probably has some lighting filter the others don't. Your gpu can't resolve it, so it's doing the best it can. Sometimes people will have a red glow, or those flares by the truck in the sand will make the whole level red. Mostly on Nvidia cards though.

The first level is a technological showcase for Glacier 2 Engine with complex lighting and reflexions. It would not surprise me if the lighting in this level requires more recent GPU/API instructions.

Try to update .NET framework, DirectX...etc

Still your GPU does not even meet the minimum system requiements, and this game is more demanding that H1.

Well, I just bought full game and it seems that only that one map is broken for me. Other maps are working well. Thank you all for responses!

I'm glad they do! Hitman2 is my all time fave game. I've been a fan sense hitman codename 47, and I have to say, this hitman2, is the best gameplay of the entire saga. I did like the story in absolution better however.

Yeah, I was amazed by Hitman 1 and its variety on levels and overall it reminded me of Blood Money. Already got all mastery levels there and now looking forward in getting 'em in Hitman 2 :p

actually it's not as bad as OP's, just realized his screenshots aren't what I'm having

it's just occasionally a green light source the size of a coin will show up in random spots, sometimes blinding my screen with green running past them

Same exact issue on a Radeon HD 6800 series. It’s the cards; they’re cursed with fake DX12 support too, so they’ll be very trash with pretty much anything that might be better with it.
