Best advise for that minigame tbh
That and unless you are in the middle they can spawn on top of you pretty much a ♥♥♥♥ move seeing as you NEED to move from the center
Oh yeah that as well and here I thought mini games should be fun diversions, f*** me I guess
lmao. and as this fellow said
I actually like the style of the games though, and I think they're a neat side thing. For progression's sake they should be made a little bit less of a roadblock though. >.>
Unrelated: People who complain it's bland in the mall should be kicked in the shins. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ closing down shopping centre, not Comicon or whatever.
For the asteroid mini-game, try standing still for as long as you can and ignore the power-ups. The power-ups don't go away, so if you leave them be until things get really hectic (and they do) then you can pick 'em up and hold down the fire button so practically no bullet goes to waste. Since you move forward quickly and have forward momentum, try to tap your forward button instead of going full speed.
Should note that without the power-up you shoot semi-automatic, but with the power-up you can hold down the button and go automatic
For the car mini-game I tried staying in the middle lane, only moving to dodge and move back after dodging. This ended up being difficult later on because you would start moving up to 2 lanes with one key press, so I eventually tried sticking with the farmost left lane and found success. This way you only have to pay attention to your lane and quickly dodge when you see a car coming
Good luck!
If you wanted to give a "Arcade feel" with a game that you could play with a "Joystick". Tetris, Frogger, Ms./Pac-Man, Hell even Joust would have been a better idea.
