For the love of all that is holy...whats a regular stance nexit grind????
it would be amazing if all the challenge tricks were listed in the guide. Anyone get a nexit challenge yet?

I sympathise because I think I had this one before and no idea, but now that I look at it again... try a nollie exit out.

The problem is that they used a bunch of different terms for the same tricks in different places. For instance, one of Ribsman's quests asks for a 360 flip. The guide has no such trick. Except it does, cuz a 360 flip is basically a treflip. I found out in another thread a while ago that this inconsistency is confusing even to real-life skaters due to how they call tricks locally, be it in English or their own language.

If they would pick a name and stick with it, this wouldn't be a problem. But nope... Gotta sound cool af in those challenge and quest descriptions, so slap ever trick name imaginable on them. Hopefully, this improves as development goes on. I've already suggested that they hire a professional writer to guarantee consistency and readability across the whole game, so hopefully they'll listen.

No skater is confused by 360 flip and treflip. Now "nexit" is something I've never heard.. I'd assume it means nollie out, but really no clue.

That might be your case, but uh...

And yes, it's likely nollie out, as lordasphyxia mentioned. You might never have heard of it, but maybe "nexit" is a term the devs use often 🤷🏻‍♂️ To avoid confusion, it's better to just pick one term for each trick and stick with it.

Yea, i second this. Skating for 21 years now irl and i've never heard of some names. If i do research i know the tricks for sure, but never heard some names of it.
Like nexit - i literaly never heard of nexit (?!) in all those years.
Guess its about countrys. Stuff like Treflip should be known everywhere, but nextit? What the heck.

sorry for hijacking the thread but it kinda fits:

what would you call a full cab kickflip but with 540° of rotation? 1.5 cab? lol

the correct way to say it would be a : "cab and a half" flip

considering we say:
half cab for a 180
cab for a 360
so.. cab and a half for a 540? :P

go ask steve caballero what he thinks
