randomness of bosses?

Played pretty much the whole game without ever meeting aoife. Got her on the last bonus round and thought I was getting a special boss but turns out she's just a regular boss that somehow never ever spawned before?

Which boss you'll meet is totally random - some bosses are excluded from some episodes, but Aoife is a fairly common boss. Must just be bad luck!

Yeah I guess! Took a good 20+ episodes before I met Drake too. Just defeated lady luck, and now looking at the cast Aoife was the only enemy I hadn't met yet.

I got audrey in a disaster of an inventor run where I could only really do damage with my limit. so she'd build up her shield, hit me, then I'd break her shield without putting much real damage on her, and repeat. Gotta appreciate how the stars lined up for that softlock

Don't you mean Aoife? Audrey is the one with Earthquake, Aoife is the only boss that shields.

also, how on earth did you get into that situation
