Is this game worth it?

I love games like slay of spire/monster train and i've been suggested this one, but the name of dicey(dices) does it mean its a luck based game?

It's a bit simpler than the games you mentioned but still very enjoyable. Some characters struggle a bit in the beginning with bad rolls but there are plenty of tools to manipulate your dice rolls and there are skills that work with both high and low rolls. Definitely worth it at 50% off.

No, it's mostly about playing well.

It's a strategic dice game, depending a bit on luck of course, but strategy is more important.

It's not really any kind of RPG, it's just pretending to be one.

Stages are relatively short so it's kinda casual and something you can play in a homeoffice break for example *g*

I recommend looking into Ring of Pain. Haven't played it but it looks interesting. :D

Easily worth double price in my opinion. the challenges get interesting and there's lots of cool things you can do. while it is luck based, everything is still fair

I played a bit more since then and my personal opinion is that it's worth it on sale.
Design wise it's very nice but gameplay wise it's kinda meh.

If you did not buy this game yet, its in the Yogscast Jingle Jam bundle for charity. The bundle is $35ish and with the other games in there its definitely worth it. I just got it and have been playing it for less than an hour but I am enjoying it so far. I guess its as RNG as drawing the card you need in Slay The Spire.
