Winning Bonus Round Hard Mode with Witch?
I achieved everything (except dodging Cornelius) and I'm stuck.
Someone maybe won this and have some good build? I have some builds that somehow work, but often around 4-5 stage enemies just overwhelm me with damage.
I know I would won later or earlier, but playing her is not fun to me, so I'm looking for some less RNG dependent builds.

I'm nowhere near thinking about this, but I know that Weaken is great for BRHM. Witch's most reliable source of Weaken is Hex, I believe.
I know this is an old topic, but I just finished the hard mode bonus round so I thought I'd share what worked. I ended up with mirror cauldron on 1, snapdragon 2, thick skin 3, cold snap 4, vise grip 5, magic shield 6. Vise grip and Thick Skin are the only ones that were necessary- my strategy was generally to set down thick skin on my upgraded slot as soon as possible, then use vise grip to feed it as many 3's as possible (it spits back whatever you give it, so you can use the 3 you get back to place down another). The thick skin upgraded would let me quickly rack up tons of armor and shield, and I could funnel any 6's I got into mirror cauldron to get me more dice. Snapdragon was generally on my 2nd or upgraded slot, so I could get 2 mana to use with cold snap. Once I had enough shield and dice, I'd switch out my 2nd and 4th slots for cold snap to start doing damage. It's pretty much the only strategy that worked for me- I played through the episode at least 20 times before managing.
Also, imo, its pretty much impossible to beat the bonus round hard mode without save scumming. I'd recommend doing that- I had an incredible build and I still died a few times.

Finally beat this stupid episode; hardest in the game for me by far.

I got blood cauldron - drain 1 health and reroll. That made all the difference. Getting shock attack item was also good. Low health was the biggest barrier, so taking blood cauldron and an upgraded slot was huge: I'd reroll everything but 1s, and keep feeding them in two at a time until running out of dice.

I was seriously struggling with this episode, and on one of my runs, I looked up "thick skin dicey dungeons" when offered it in a shop (to see what its upgrade was, I think). That lead me to this thread, which gave me the idea to put thick skin on three, and that FINALLY earned me a win! *THANK YOU.*

My spellbook was, from 1 to 6: Cauldron, Gladioli, Thick Skin, Sonic Wave, Northern Lights, and Duplicate. Use all threes on thick skin, pop the last one into Northern Lights, then reroll the leftovers until they fit in Sonic Wave. Sneak in a duplicate to do whatever every now and then. Gladioli was good for clutch end-of-fight damage.

It took a ♥♥♥♥-load of save-scumming on the last two enemies before the boss (Dire Wolf and Skeleton, right after a Cowboy), but I made it to Madison and won the fight with two HP left (and I entered with full health! and I got nearly 11 block + 3 armor a turn! why is this episode so hard!!!)

I completed everything except Witch Ep 4 & 6. Then I quit because I couldn't fail anymore.

6 months later....

I ended up using Daffodil and just spamming Cold Snap. With daffodil prepared I could freeze with Cold snap on R2 onward, after that daffodil can be replaced. I only had 3 slots due to the "random spell" modifier. I did get lucky and get Super Slime for the boss, who needs 6s and evens. Freeze was super effective.
