Inventor Elimination Round
I am dumbfounded as to how I am supposed to beat this episode. The whole point of the inventor is to think ahead, but I find myself straining to keep any equipment that I could turn into a nifty gadget for later. My strategy is as follows:

General Rule of Thumb:
Don't push for that lucky all-odds when I'm trying to fight a Fireman. I have other ways to spend my brainpower, and they happen to not include mindless clicking. Always prioritize new equipment over upgrading them.

Floor 1:
Go for the enemy with the most chests behind them. Sacrifice Pea Shooter if possible. If there is a chest that I don't have to fight for, don't grab it until Pea Shooter is gone. Proceed as normal, and sacrifice the least useful equipment.

Floor 2:
Examine carefully. Can I cheese any of these enemies with my Staff if I managed to keep it? Otherwise, go for an enemy that lets me get the most potential equipment and sustain myself. I prefer a shop and an apple over a chest and an apple if I have enough gold. Play carefully, blah blah blah, get unlucky with chests, you get the deal. It's easy to get down to the wire with only 3 equipment due to unlucky map generation, so quite a few runs end here. Also, try to hold onto Hammer or Venus Fly Trap as a reliable offensive equipment. Buy items from shops that only cost 1 gold.

Floor 3:
Apply the same strategy as for floor 2. Get Flamethrower and upgrade it when I'm near level 4. Then, when on level 4, bring it in on fights I'm desperate to win. Use focus (and bump on one of the sixes if I get it before I use focus. This way, I can also use Hammer/Venus Fly Trap) and fill in Flamethrower with the resulting six. I hope I'm still alive.

Floor 4: So close! Nothing really unique here.

Floor 5: Again, nothing unique. Just have to hope for the best. At this point, you probably are at 1-15 health and have one enemy remaining that will kill you no matter what. You can't proceed to the boss fight and expect to win either, so there's no point in continuing.

Floor 6: Have never reached. If I do reach this point, quit if I get omega unlucky and get Buster as my boss.

I just finished Inventor Elimination Round, Floor 5 is rough, I lost four times there. I buy one upgrade at the shop usually. When I get the option to upgrade or copy, I copy what I find useful, usually either crystal sword or healing crystal. My reasoning is I can sacrifice one on the fifth floor to gain either fury or health regen, respectively. Then after the first fight, I fight the enemy that's most likely to punch my face in with my fury or health regen unless I was confident i could get out the first fight well, then i sacrifice my trump card the next battle. You are going to need some luck and I hope whatever boss you get doesn't counter your deck hard.

Thanks for the tips! If I ever do make it to the boss floor, I hope I don't get Buster.
