[Bug] kapow upgrade doesn't work

playing PU as jester I decided to upgrade kapow, but it only increases by 1 for every previous kapow Instead of 2.

I am having this same issue.

Rather, I am seeing the damage increment by 1, and it does an extra +2 damage after the fact.
