Did you watch a guide on Imperator 2.0 or from before? Because the game was changed quite a lot.
Your happiness issues are not something you can't overcome, but if you think it is an issue, just play without it. The mod doesn't really do much for Rome.
ok, care to elaborate a little more what you found out playing the mod?
no didn't watch video on 2.0. will look for those.
I did turn turn off the season food feature in invictus.
Did see that you could turn off happiness, is that a thing you can do?
I would not recommend any beginner use Invictus unless you like pain. I have 5000+ hours and still won't use it as there are a lot of extra options (aka clicking) that detracts from my favorite part of the game (maintaining loyalties and managing expansion based to leveraging strategic advantages). An example of this would be Rome expanding initially into Hellenic territities until the proper innovations are unlocked to enable conquests into wrong religion/wrong culture areas.
I don't think you can disable happiness, no.
