Roads or Military roads?
I see the options for my legion to build, so far built some normal roads connecting my capital to the regions but no idea what the difference is....

+2.5% Pop Promotion Speed
+1% Pop Demotion Speed
+0.05 Migration Attraction

All of that is in the wiki.

The difference between regular roads and military roads are stated in the wiki too: you only need 5 cohorts to build a military road while you need 10 of them to build regular roads. Making military roads the cheaper way to build a lot of roads, especially if you have engineers.

The difference is military roads are cheaper 10 gold instead of 50 and you don't get the legion maintenance cost of +120% or something while making the road, you also don't get a hit to morale while building road but overall it's just cheaper.

hmmm weird. The roads i had them building under normal roads were only 10 each section. Had the morale and maintenance costs though......changed during the big update maybe? Just wasnt sure if the military roads or normal had any trade or military difference lol

Did you build them with a legion that has an engineer-cohort? Cause that makes em cheaper too.

yes, ok that's why. I always put a little of each unit then the majority of my legion heavies, and let the levies fill light roles.
