What happend to the game?
I am regular PDX game player but I never played Imperator: Rome specifically, but I could not miss the sudden rise to 97% approval in recent reviews.
What is going on? Is the game good?

I was being kind. And altough I appreciate good irony, consider that you never know how your words may affect the recipient of the message. It can be a troll, or someone being irrational, or maybe someone missing facts with opinion, maybe someone with a few drinks...or it can be someone with real issues. Talking about true mental issues. And you never know how they might react to these frequent steam forum diagnosis.

I react very well and tell myself that many of the supposed players in this game are in fact just people who have shares in the company and who are ready to do anything to have easy money.

Go to bed my little boy.

You make me laugh.

Good. Laughing is good.
You felt alluded when in fact I was stating that saying someone needs help or has issues is ill adviced because sometimes it might really be the case. And I honestly prefer you laughing than wondering why.

You said this

"I ask to have what is rightfully mine and this game must be made free to me."

I fear that this boy is old enough to be your father. Old enough at the very least to know there is no point in further speaking to someone making such a wild claim.
You seem to be seeking attention and I wont be giving you any more.

You always seem to me to want to distort reality.

But you don't seem to realize that this game is discontinued and that this game is classified as mediocre or bad if you like it better.

If you take this game at the regular price and you lower the score of the game.
You will realize that this game is very, very bad. If you get this game at a reduced price then it performs well.

So I think we agree that this game becomes free like CK2 and that everyone can play it for free. That's all.

Well, that went well.

After reading all is post, that troll/toxic Troxter... e is realy unstable and need to see fast a doc to help him/her, hope e will get help.
TROXTER Mar 24, 2024 @ 4:31am
But here we can see 2 types of people who write.

1- Troll Hatters
2- Troll Lovers

If you read all the posts carefully you will understand that if I called them a Troll Lovers,
or would have just dared to mention only 10% of what these Troll Lovers told me or qualified.
I would have been banned straight away.

Then you will understand why this game and most of the games that this company makes have very high scores. Because moderators only ban those who tell the truth in real life and from their games.

If I would have dared to describe these people as Trolls with mental problems and that they should all go see specialists. I would have been banned.

You now understand why the games created by this company have very good scores.

Because Troll Lovers are never banished to defending the indefensible.
It's like this for all the games this company creates

Look at City Skylines 2. According to Trolls Lovers this game is fantastic.
But yet the scores on steam are disastrous and if you tell the truth you are banned.

This game still should be free.

Have a nice day.

Game is the perfect balance of vic, eu, and ck all in one. so much fun.

This game is Overwhelmingly Positive during its time on sale.

This game on sale at 70% - 80% is Overwhelmingly Positive.
But this game at its full price is Mixed.

I believe that leaving this game on constant sale or even free would allow this company to perhaps sell more DLC's.

It is the strength of this company to sell DLC's by TRILLIONS.

So if you want to have a game that will satisfy you.

Buy this game only on sale and play it with Mods only.

This is my advice.

Have a nice day.

lol that troll Troxter need alot of food... and e is easy to bait, funny and sad...

In all seriousness, its good to see some decent people here actually speaking out honestly about mental health issues. Thank you for making a bad attempt to takeover a thread into a good example for others who may see it in the future. Take care of yourselves, and that goes double for those who need it.

easy to understand.
the game was released in a state that people did not like it. so Paradox invested time and money to get 2.0.

The vast majority of the player base of Imperator loved 2.0 which is why by that time got really good reviews even though we were really few, you can confirm that by checking steam or reviews from the people who bought Heirs of Alexander.

Then we got to the point of Leviathan EU, and the lack of reaction of the community for Imperator 2.0 and new dlc, Paradox started a internal restructuration, they pulled the plug for Imperator and moved the devs who did an excepcional job with Imperator 2.0 to different games. And that's when It begun the review bombing, despite the game being really good and still really damn good. SO like anything on the internet when some people have the carrier to ♥♥♥♥ on something because others were doing the same thing, people kept ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this game.

What follows, it's a group of fans wanted to keep the game alive so they made a big mode which is still receiving bigs updates. And now, after that ♥♥♥♥ storm, people realized that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a good game won't get it back. More or less like happened with No Man sky but in this case it was already good when 2.0 was released and was kept alive thanks to fans making mods.

Absolutely right.

And another thing:
There's a host of illogical Pdx-haters out there who want it both ways. On the one hand they moan about Pdx's DLC policy, but on the other hand the same people criticise a game for being "dead" if it doesn't get new DLCs. It's daft.

The truth is it's all about the game-play. If game-play's good, as in I:R + Mods, the game's good. Doesn't matter about further enhancement. I mean, people still play and love Monopoly, a game that's effectively been "dead" with respect to DLC's ever since it was launched.

So much of the random Pdx-hate is just nonsense.

Just a question that comes to mind.

Is there still a multiplayer lobby?

If there is still one.

He shouldn't stay there much longer.

Because when this company no longer supports a game.

The Multiplayer Lobby is closed.

Do not forget it!

TROXTER and the Troxler's effet, now out on your Imperator: Rome Steam forum. Applaused by many, hated by few, like a good Pradox's game.

The game is good and don't need DLCs or mods to be enjoyable, like other Paradox games. Now and for a bit more than 10 years, Paradox has been capitalizing on a heavy DLC policy to add flavor to their games (and few new mechanics or rework). So if you want the full experience, it can be costy.

To lost would mean there's something to win and there's nothing to win so nobody can lose.
But if you're running a competition all by yourself, suit yourself.

Another great succes according to the LOSERS.

When you don't win. There is always something to lose.
