"Conquer" Console Command

I like using the conquer console command to fix the occasional border gore but as of this patch it seems to wholesale annex countries instead of take over individual provinces.

Is this broken, an intentional change or am I missing something?

Is there an alternative that anyone knows of for setting the ownership of provinces?

or you could just, you know, declare war and take the territories needed to fix your border gore.

So? I'm obviously only playing it single player, you can't even use commands in multiplayer. I literally don't understand why you care what I do in my own game.

I think you can try to write "own (province ID)". I'm not sure if it will work or if they have changed it lately.

Do "Control" for individual provinces.

install Invictus as this mod allows you to trade whole provinces (or individual territories), tag (country), trade what you want to whom you want = problem solved
